Traditional Treatment Appointments Insurance
Traditional treatment is likely a process that is familiar to you. It involves understanding what your most important concerns are at present—what do you want to improve? What will make daily living better for you?
We will gather an extensive history of your childhood, your medical and psychiatric experiences. We will discuss factors in your life that may be contributing to your concerns, such as relationships, stressors, and lifestyle.
We will then discuss medications that may be helpful for you. You are never under any obligation to start pharmacological treatment. Ask questions, think about it, and ask more questions!
Please note that I do not conduct ADHD evaluations. If you have been tested, I am happy to discuss and manage treatment options with you!
When you’re ready, we are here to help!
New patient Appointments are 60 mintues. We will have a conversation about what your current life concerns are and how you would like to function better in the important aspects of your life. Together, we will develop goals and a path to achieving them.
Medication Management Appointments are 15 to 30 minutes long, during which we follow up on your goals and treatment. We discuss what is going well and what is not for you, and how medication may or may not be working. A mutual decision-making process will lead to adjustments as needed.
Medication Management Appointments with Supportive Therapy are 55 minutes and in addition to pharmacological treatment, include therapeutic interventions as well. You may wish to develop new coping and relationship skills, new insights into behavior patterns, process past childhood or previously experienced traumas.
I am in network with most
Blue Cross Blue Shield plans
(not Blue Value) and
with Aetna.
Please contact your specific insurance plan to determine your behavioral health coverage. Make sure that we are in network with your plan, and understand your copay, deductible, and co-insurance payments, if applicable.
I also accept out of network patients. In this case, you would pay the full fee upfront, and I can provide a “Superbill” that you submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Most insurances do reimburse some portion of the fee. Please contact your insurance company for out of network coverage specifics for your particular plan. Please see the “Good Faith Estimate” Button in the banner at the top of this page for important information if you are paying without insurance.
